Think You Have the Wrong Tires? Here’s How to Check

Having the right tires on your vehicle is going to improve your fuel efficiency and give you a much smoother ride. Luckily, most drivers can easily check all of their tires in a matter of minutes with nothing more than a flashlight and a notebook.

The first thing that you need to do is locate your owner’s manual and flip to the page that has all of the information on the tires. You might also be able to find that information on a door placard or inside the engine bay on a sticker. The manual or placard should tell you the ideal tire height, width, and rating for your vehicle. Once you have that information, you can then check the sidewalls of your tires for matching letters and sizes.

Our service team believes that changing tires should be a simple and stress-free process. Head down to Stewart Toyota today if you think that your car or truck might be ready for a new set of tires.
